At Integrative PT of NYC we accept most major commercial insurance plans for outpatient physical therapy, chiropractic care, and acupuncture services. Integrative PT of NYC accepts insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Cigna, Oxford, United Healthcare (UHC), Meritain Health and Medicare. UnitedHealthcare (UHC)
IPT accepts UnitedHealthcare commercial plans, including Choice Plus, Options PPO, Navigate, and employer-sponsored UHC plans. Most plans cover medically necessary outpatient PT.
Aetna
IPT accepts Aetna commercial PPO, HMO, and Open Access plans are accepted. If your employer offers an Aetna-administered plan under a different name, it is likely also covered — call us to confirm.
Meritain Health
IPT accepts Meritain Health insurance plans, an Aetna company. Meritain administers self-funded employer health plans. If your employer uses Meritain as its third-party administrator, your PT visits at our clinic are covered.
Oxford Health Plans
IPT accepts Oxford Health Plans, a subsidiary of UnitedHealthcare, is accepted at our Midtown East clinic. Oxford PPO and HMO plan members can receive physical therapy with a referral from their PCP if required.
Cigna
IPT accepts Cigna insurance plans for outpatient physical therapy services in New York City. Cigna Open Access Plus and Choice Fund plans are commonly used by Midtown Manhattan professionals.
Private Pay & Self-Pay Rates
No insurance? No problem. We offer straightforward private pay rates with no hidden fees. Initial Evaluations at $175.00, a comprehensive physical therapy examination for 60-75 minutes, and Follow Up Appointments at $125.00, physical therapy treatment sessions for 45-60 minutes.
Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
IPT accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, including Empire BCBS and out-of-state BCBS Blue Card plans. BCBS typically covers outpatient PT for medically necessary conditions such as back pain, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehab.
Medicare
IPT accepts Original Medicare (Part B) covers outpatient physical therapy when services are medically necessary and ordered by a physician. Medicare typically reimburses 80% after the Part B deductible, with the patient responsible for 20%.
